The editing is the bottleneck.

01

You filmed something good.

02

Turning it into a short costs an evening in a timeline.

03

So most good footage dies in the camera roll.

How it works

Three steps. One of them is yours.

You upload and you review. The engine does the part in the middle.

Step 01

Upload up to 10 minutes

One vertical MP4 or MOV where you’re saying something — a story, a take, a reaction, filmed portrait the way you already shoot. 30 seconds to 5 minutes is recommended for the best results, but shorter and longer videos work too.

Step 02

The engine edits

  1. 01Upload complete
  2. 02Understanding your video
  3. 03Building the story
  4. 04Editing
  5. 05Mixing the sound
  6. 06Final quality check

Step 03

Review one finished short

One vertical video that already passed six final checks. Watch it, download it, post it. No timeline to fix it in — because it doesn’t arrive broken.

The evidence

Same footage. Found story. Finished edit.

A real raw vertical video and the real short the engine cut from it — not a mockup, not a stock clip.

The quality gate

It ships a short, or it tells you why.

Every export runs six final checks before you ever see it. A failed check means a clear reason — not a bad video in your drafts.

If it fails our checks, your minutes come back.

  • Sound is clean and never clipped
  • Dialogue stays above the music
  • Portrait framing keeps the subject in frame
  • No cut lands mid-word
  • The story is intelligible start to finish
  • The short fits the platform (up to 60s)
  • Your footage is stored privately, per account. Other users cannot access it.
  • Delete your media at any time with one button.
  • Everything is auto-deleted after the retention window anyway.

Questions, answered plainly.

What do I upload?

One vertical MP4 or MOV, up to 10 minutes of raw footage, filmed portrait the way you already shoot for the feeds. 30 seconds to 5 minutes is recommended for the best results, but shorter and longer videos work too. Talking is the point — the engine edits around speech, so footage where you are telling, explaining, or reacting to something works best.

What do I get back?

One vertical short, never longer than 60 seconds, at 1080×1920 — cut, paced, mixed and checked, ready to post to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts. A few minutes of footage usually makes a 40–60 second short; a short upload naturally makes a shorter one.

What if the result isn’t good?

Every export runs through six final checks — sound, dialogue balance, framing, cuts, story, and duration. If it fails, you get a clear reason and your minutes back, not a bad video in your drafts.

What happens to my footage?

It is stored privately under your account — other users cannot open it — and auto-deleted after the 14-day default retention window. You can also delete a job’s media yourself. ViralEngine does not use your media to train AI models. OpenAI and other processors we use to run the service may process data as needed to edit, store, or bill.

What does a minute cost, and how do credits work?

Pricing is by the minute of footage you upload, rounded up to the whole minute. The free trial includes 10 minutes with no card; the monthly plan includes 60 minutes a month. Purchased top-up minutes do not expire unless we later change that and say so. Prices shown now are beta prices and may change with notice. A qualifying failed edit returns its minutes to your balance. Paid purchases can be refunded within 14 days through the contact page.
